FIRST RIDE PROGRAM
3 HOURS: $50.00 (Credit Card is not billed until
the week of your class)
The First Ride program is designed for the novice rider to
gain familiarity and comfort with the motorcycle before taking
the Basic Rider Course (BRC). It's a great way to see if you
really want to learn to ride. The Kick Start program is
comprised of the following range activities:
Motorcycle Familiarization:
Designed to acquaint a new rider with the major parts and
controls of a motorcycle.
Using the Friction Zone:
Designed to acquaint riders with the procedures and practices to
start out, stop and operate at low speed in a straight line.
Starting and Stopping: Designed to
provide practice time for riders in learning clutch/throttle
coordination in starting out and stopping.
Shifting and Stopping: Designed to
have riders learn to shift gears.
RiderCoaches for the program are all experienced motorcycle
operators who are nationally certified by the Motorcycle Safety
Foundation (MSF).
We provide the helmet and motorcycle.
You will need the items listed below:
* Full-fingered gloves
* Long pants
* Eye protection
* Long sleeved shirt or jacket
* Over-the-ankle footwear: (with little to no heel and no cloth
or canvas.)
BASIC
RIDER COURSE (BRC)
15 HOURS: $225.00 (Credit Card is not billed
until the week of your class)
The Basic Rider Course's Core curriculum is designed to teach
beginning motorcyclists of all ages the physical and mental
skills necessary to ride safely on the street. The course
includes basic motorcycle operation, maximum effective braking
techniques, turning skills, and obstacle avoidance maneuvers.
There are 5 hours of classroom instruction and ten hours of
"hands-on" motorcycle training. The program Rider Coaches are
experienced motorcycle operators and nationally certified by the
Motorcycle Safety Foundation.
Ride Like
A Pro will provide students with course handbooks, helmet, eye
protection and motorcycles. The students must come dressed in a
long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants, over the ankle
protective footwear and full finger gloves. You may wear your
own eyeglasses or sunglasses and use your own DOT approved
helmet if you have one.
Once the course has
been successfully completed, graduates are exempt from further
motorcycle testing at the Division of Driver Licenses Office.
Graduates may also be entitled to insurance premium discounts
through participating insurance companies.
EXPERIENCED
RIDER COURSE (ERC)
5 - 6 HOURS: $125.00
(Credit Card is not billed until the week of your
class)
Would you like to improve
your riding? The experienced rider course covers riding skills
that are needed to become a safe and competent motorcyclist.
Some of the skills covered are swerving, cornering, braking and
slow tight turns. The course is 4-5 hours long and can be used
to get insurance discounts. If you have never taken a formal
motorcycling class and think you know how to ride, you will be
amazed at what you will learn. The Experience Rider Course is
offered to motorcyclists 21 years of age and older, who already
own and operate a motorcycle.
RIDE
LIKE A PRO
4 HOURS: $150.00
This course consists of a modified police motor officer course.
You will need to have a least 3,000 miles and feel comfortable
with your motorcycle. The course teaches motor officer skills of
handling a motorcycle at slow speeds.

RIDE
LIKE A PRO ROAD TRIP INSTRUCTION
FROM $450.00 @day - $2900.00 @week
That's right. Now offering road trip instruction classes from
the world renown co-stars of the Ride Like A Pro Team, Tim and
Marianne Hamilton.
The dates will be limited to summer time riding for North
Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Western North Carolina. While
this tri-state area boast some of the best motorcycle roads in
the country, many riders are unfamiliar with these roads or how
to properly ride a curvy road. Two day to one week tours in this
tri-state area provide motorcyclists with the opportunity to
enjoy the beautiful and lightly-trafficked Appalachian highways
while practicing the skills and techniques of mountain road
riding. Winter time Florida riding is also available.
You will get the best hands on instruction available with a lead
instructor and a tail instructor. While getting to tour some of
the best motorcycle roads in the United States, you will also be
learning. Instruction will begin prior to each ride along with
some parking lot practice, then hit the road for some great
hands on experience. Techniques covered during the tours include
proper cornering lines, gear selection, line-of-sight, proper
passing, and selecting speeds appropriate for traffic and
weather conditions. Speed will be adjusted to allow for
differences in motorcycles and riding styles but will not exceed
speed limits. This is not a racing class and intended more for
the cruiser style rider. If you have been looking for ways to
improve your riding, you have now found personal instruction
that will improve your riding by 100%.
Daily schedules will be made which allows adequate time for
instruction, riding and rest. Daily rides will be schedule out
from a base location. Private instruction starts at $450 a day
to $2900 for a week with reduce fees for additional riders. What
is included: Lunch each day, breakfast following each overnight
stay.
Rider-to-instructor ratios will not exceed three-to-one.
Motorcycles must be in excellent mechanical condition with good
tires and reasonably quiet mufflers-no straight or open exhausts
are permitted. A motorcycle operator license is required. Proper
protective riding gear as listed under the requirements page.
Passengers are welcome for an additional fee.
